You might notice some new changes to our website.
For starters we have officially changed our URL to www.saintlouisdna.org to reflect our status as a non-profit neighborhood association. We also improved the website for tablet and mobile users.
As we grow the DNA organization we’re listening to your feedback–keep it coming!
Support our downtown businesses and meet your neighbors all while having a good time at this month’s happy hour in Mango Peruvian Cuisine‘s new location at 1001 Washington Avenue on Thursday, July 30 starting at 5:30pm.
They are offering discounted eats and drinks to all DNA members and their guests. And don’t worry, you can sign up for free at the event.
Don’t forget to invite your neighbors!
The vote to amend the DNA Bylaws on Monday, July 13 passed with 38 voting “YES” and 1 voting “NO”.
Therefore, DNA’s new boundaries are as follows:
Mississippi River to the east, Chouteau Avenue on the south, Jefferson Avenue on the west, and Cole Street on the north.
DNA’s boundaries now match the boundaries the City of St. Louis uses to define Downtown and Downtown West.
DNA is seeking Building Captains to reach out to people living in each building of our neighborhood. Tasks will include the following:
- Working with building managers or homeowner associations to distribute information packets (DNA membership sign-up, voter registration, library card application, Downtown St. Louis Directory, etc.)
- Placing flyers (meeting notices, etc.) in public areas when requested, such as elevators and common rooms
- Distributing information via email lists of building residents, if approved by building mangers or homeowner associations
- Attend Building Captain meetings when requested
Sign-up by filling out the form.
