Kids, big and little, are invited to attend our family movie night at the Downtown Central Library to watch The Book of Life (rated PG) on Thursday, April 2. The show will begin at 7pm, and it is free to all.
This is the first of many family friendly events DNA will begin hosting. We have a growing population of families downtown, and we want to make sure there are affordable activities for them to participate in.
We want to thank everyone who attended our Spring Soiree fundraiser this past Saturday, March 21 at the Missouri Watercolor Society‘s gallery at 555 Washington Avenue.
The funds from this benefit will allow us to pay for our 501(c)3 non-profit filing fee with the IRS. Having this designation will allow us to apply for many different grants and corporate donations to improve our neighborhood.
We also wish to thank the downtown businesses that donated food and beverages to the event. In no particular order they were: Culinaria, Hiro Asian Kitchen, Flannery’s Irish Pub, Washington Avenue Post, Prime 1000, Caruso’s Deli, and Schlafly Tap Room.
Spring officially arrives on March 20, and we will celebrate its arrival the following evening with a Spring Soiree fundraiser alongside the Missouri Watercolor Society on Saturday, March 21 from 7-10:30pm!
The proceeds of this event will help fund the current and future activities of our association as well as the Missouri Watercolor Society. It will be held in the society’s beautiful downtown gallery at 555 Washington Avenue.
Click/press here to purchase your tickets for the special advance price of $30. You may purchase at the door for $35.
We will have food, beverages (alcoholic & non-alcoholic), and music to liven up the night. We hope to see you all there!
